All patients have a tale of recovery, perseverance, and hard effort. Individual strength and resiliency are reflected in them. Most importantly, they are the symbols of hope. Today, I am going to tell you 2 of my recent patient’s recovery stories.
Meet Mr. Damodaran. He is an Army man by profession. I have diagnosed him with both hip Avascular Necrosis. Avascular Necrosis, also known as osteonecrosis, is the loss of bone tissue due to a lack of blood supply. It can cause tiny cracks in the bone, as well as bone’s eventual collapse. A cracked bone or a dislocated joint can disrupt blood flow to a portion of bone. Long-term usage of high-dose steroid medicines and excessive alcohol can also cause avascular necrosis. The illness can affect anyone, but it is most frequent in adults between the age of 30 and 50. The hip surgery of Mr. Damodaran is done at the golden hospital in Chandigarh. Now the patient is doing absolutely fine.
